PFD is one of Europe's leading literary and talent agencies both in terms of turnover and breadth of representation.

It is an acknowledged leader in many of its specialist areas, acting as agent to writers, directors, producers, actors, technicians, composers, sportsmen and women, public speakers and illustrators across a wide variety of media which include books, plays, television, film productions and multimedia projects.

PFD represents its clients both domestically and internationally, in English and foreign language markets, over a broad range of copyright media.

The company's long term copyright assets comprises one of the broadest lists of any creative agency in the world.

On October 1st. 1999 Peters Fraser and Dunlop became "PFD". On that day 75 years previously, A. D. Peters opened for business at 5 John Adam Street, in London's Adelphi.

In November 2001, PFD became part of the CSS Stellar group, whose website can be found at www.css-stellar.com.

The agents represent authors' professional interests, marketing all rights in their work including merchandising and foreign language rights worldwide. They represent the full range of published work including fiction, reference works, biography, history, poetry and children's books.

The books, film, television and artists departments have arrangements with a broad range of agencies in the United States for the representation of individual clients, often on a project by project basis.

PFD traces its history back to 1924 when A.D. Peters, once described as "the doyen of London literary agents for half a century", established his literary agency, representing such eminent writers as: Hilaire Belloc, C.S. Forester, Arthur Koestler, Nancy Mitford, J.B.Priestley, Evelyn Waugh and Rebecca West

Fraser & Dunlop was formed in 1952, and the group was created in 1988 through the merger of A.D. Peters and Fraser & Dunlop. Subsequently in 1988 the Group also acquired the June Hall Literary Agency.

In 2001 PFD became part of the CSS Stellar group. CSS is the parent company for a group of businesses which cover sport and entertainment management, sponsorship, marketing and financial services. PFD is now the literary and entertainment agency for the group.
