After You’ve Gone

Hit BBC comedy After You’ve Gone, returned to BBC One for a third series this week. This much loved family show starring Nicholas Lyndhurst and Celia Imrie can be seen on Sunday evenings at 18.30 and Jon Brown and Katie Douglas are on the writing team.

Twiggy's Frock Exchange

 

Today sees the launch of Twiggy’s new show on BBC2.

 

Starting tonight on BBC2, the first in a three part series in which Twiggy, the world’s first supermodel, and her team set to work to re-fashion a studio full of ladies.

Picking up on the new craze for ‘swishing’, 100 women arrive in one set of clothes and after some expert help and advice on all aspects of their appearance, including hair and make up; they leave looking and feeling a million dollars . . . and all without spending a single penny!  

The programme is full of hints and tips for the rest of us too . . .

The Sunday Times Must Read

Peters Fraser and Dunlop are pleased to announce that both Simon Schama's The American Future: A History (Bodley Head) and Philip Norman's John Lennon: The Life (HarperCollins) have been selected as Must Reads by The Sunday Times, which calls them 'a stirring defence of the red, white and blue' and a 'compulsive, impressively researched biography' respectively.

DUNCAN MACMILLAN DIRECTS NEW PLAY AT FINBOROUGH

Award-winning playwright and director Duncan Macmillan is directing the world premiere of Simon Vinnecombe’s new play CRADLE ME.

Guildford Book Festival First Novel Award

Peters Fraser and Dunlop are pleased to announce that Roland Vernon’s A Dark Enchantment has been shortlisted for the Guildford Book Festival First Novel Award. Christian the Lion and PFD

Peters Fraser and Dunlop are pleased to announce that they have signed John Rendall, the joint author with Ace Bourke of A Lion Called Christian. It is the story of two young Australians buying a lion from Harrods and raising him in 60s London before taking him to the wild and to George Adamson. The YouTube video of their reunion one year on with Christian, then in the wild, is currently one of the most popular videos on YouTube and is riding high in the Viral Video Chart. It has been seen by more than 44 million people across the globe. There are new plans for reviving the story of Christian across different disciplines. Broadcast Hotshots 2008

We're delighted to announce that scriptwriter Abby Ajayi and scriptwriter and actor Oli Lansley (both represented by Jessica Cooper) have been selected as Broadcast Hotshots for 2008. The scheme picks out the country's brightest and best young talent in TV, who will be the stars of tomorrow in their field of specialism.
