About the Books Dept.
PFD represents more than 500 authors and many literary estates. The agents represent authors' professional interests, marketing all rights in their work including merchandising and foreign language rights worldwide. They represent the full range of published work including fiction, reference works, biography, history, poetry and children's books.
In September 2003 the agency opened an office in the US. PFD New York is headed by Mark Reiter and Zoe Pagnamenta. They represent American writers as well as a select group of PFD UK's writers in the US and Canada.
