Mark Pearson

Marc has fifteen years experience as a full time television scriptwriter on a variety of shows including DOCTORS, EMMERDALE and EASTENDERS. Marc’s hour long episode of DOCTORS, ‘Past Imperfect’ was nominated for a Golden Rose at the Rose D’Or Festival in Switzerland, a Royal Television Society Award, and for Best Episode of the Year at the British Soap Awards. He was commissioned to write a pilot episode of a fifty minute drama series by Caroline Oulton for the BBC. He has had a sitcom optioned and developed with Blue Heaven Productions and D.L. Taffner (UK) Ltd. Marc’s screenplay, FUNNY THING LIFE was optioned by Granada Productions and he was shortlisted for TAPS Writer of the Year. As well as being commissioned to create a sitcom for the BBC’s Comedy Department he has also written a pilot sitcom for Warren Cabral Productions and written for BBC Scotland’s comedy department, notably PULP FICTION. Marc also writes the best-selling Jack Delaney series of crime books published by Hutchinson. The third in the series DEATH ROW will be coming out in July of this year.
