Patricia Le Roy

Patricia Le Roy was born in Liverpool in 1946, and educated at the University of Sussex. She has lived in Paris since 1969, and is married with two daughters. She worked as a secretary, teacher, translator and journalist before joining Radio Liberty, where she stayed for seventeen years. She has written several novels about Russia and Eastern Europe. She has just completed her fourth novel, The Judas Tree, which is set in Communist East Germany.
