Robin Brooks was born in Leeds in 1961 and brought up in Sheffield and Manchester. He won an exhibition at Christchurch College, Oxford, where he studied English Literature. He started writing for Empty Space Theatre company in 1989. His first critical success was an adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's 'THE STRANGE CASE OF DR JEKYLL AND MR HYDE' which was performed all over the world from 1990 to 1997. He started writing Radio drama for R4 in 1992 and has since written many plays and series. He is currently writing his first non-fiction book. |
