Reviews:
MONSTER
'Macmillan's play is a timely and gripping dissection of parenting and responsibilty...this is a mature, intelligent and passionate play', The Guardian, 4 Stars.

OLD VIC NEW VOICES 24 HOUR PLAY
'The most impressive effort is Macmillan's own- part romance, part farce and part elegy for London itself. 'I don't know when I'm going to be privileged enough to work at the Old Vic' says its exhausted author...I may be the only theatre's hat consultant but I predict an encore.' The Times.

THE MOST HUMANE WAY TO KILL A LOBSTER
'Theatre 503...delivers the goods again with this intriguing debut from new writer Duncan Macmillan. It is a little play about our age of anxiety...that has both the ring of truth and a real spark of originality', The Guardian.

'Such is the intesity of Macmillan's writing...I fell wholly in love with his impressionistic portrait, at once haunting, intense and multi layered. Make the trip.' What's On.

'Macmillan...is capable of combining a complexity of characterisation with sharp twists in a plot that is propelled along on a stream of puncy dialogue...Monster is engrossing and menacing and merits a long run and wider airing', The Independent.

'I loved this, I thought it was a really electrifying new voice coming into the theatre...Duncan Macmillan is absolutely a name to be looking out for in the future', Front Row, R4.

'Duncan Macmillan's gripping new play', The Telegraph.
