Christine is a comedy and drama TV and radio scriptwriter, she also writes for the stage. Her broadcast credits include DOCTORS and several original radio plays. She is currently developing a number of original comedy and drama ideas with producers. She was a winner of the TAPS Award in the comedy category in 2006 and the WR Foundation Playwright Award for her play SALFORD STUFFERS.

Television:
2008 - Working in development with One Eyed Dog in Glasgow on a Sunday Evening series. Working development with the Comedy Unit in Manchester.
Working on a new development drama series.

2007 - BBC Comedy in Manchester group writing comedy with three stand ups.

2006 - Finalised development document with Kim Crowther and Keiran Roberts in the Granada Drama Department.
Winner of TAPS comedy category.

2005 - BBC Comedy unit, working with Jon Vorhauss and Gill Isles.
Series drama development with Granada.

2003 - DOCTORS, one episode TX Decmber 2003 'Measure of a Man'.
Worked on the story lining team at Granada's CORONATION STREET for five months.

2005 - LOST IN LIVERPOOL, one of six writers on a commission for the City of Culture year. Producer - Gary Brown.

2003 - TALK TO STICKY, BBC Radio 4 Afternoon Play with Tina Gray and Ann Rye. Producer - Jenny Stephens

2002 - PArt of BBC's Northern Exposure radio drama.

Theatre:
2008 - THREE SHEETS a new political drama comedy for North West Playwrights

2007 - Runner up in the Brunwood Award for Theatre at the Royal Exchange.

2006 - SALFORD STUFFERS at the Lowry, Salford. Commendation received form Amnesty International 'Freedom of Expression' Award.

2004 - A LOAD OF OLD WOMEN & A BIT OF A SLAPPER at the Edinburgh Festival.
Residency at Leeds Yorkshire Playhouse with Artistic Director Alex Chisholm.

2003 - A LOAD OF OLD WOMEN & A BIT OF A SLAPPER win Buxton Drama Fringe Festiva Best New Drama and Best Overall Performance.

2002 - BARKING & GOING DOWN at the Robert Powell Theatre, Salford.

2002 - STUFFERS workshopped through North West Playwrights at the Bolton Octagon.

2001 - BARKING wins New Drama Writing Award at the Bolton Festival.
WHITBY BELL wins New Drama Writing Award at the Buxton Festival.

1998 - AN ACCEPTABLE LOSS, black comedy drama set on Christmas day wins North West Playwright Award.

Following entry into North West Vision's Digital Departures 2008 - script JELLY SHOE reached last twelve in the competiton.
