Philip is an experienced TV writer who's had over 40 episodes of prime time drama broadcast and is a past winner of the screen England Pitching Competition at Cannes. He recently wrote the 35th anniversary special for EMMERDALE and is currently under commission at HEARTBEAT. He is also currently developing various original ideas. Philip also writes for the theatre and his brilliant play TWINKLE LITTLE STAR is currenttly on tour following a hugely successful run at Edinburgh last year where it was shortlisted for the Best Solo Show Award by The Stage. Of the play, the Guardian's Lyn Gardener wrote 'Meeks...has a brilliant turn of phrase and captures human foibles...it marks him out as a comic writer.' |
