Nicola Usborne read English at Oxford University and took an MA in Development Studies at SOAS in London, graduating with a distinction for her exams in 1993. Since 1995 she has worked for Scholastic Inc (a major children's media company) in New York, where she has been developing internet and video game business. Nicola started producing films in 1999. Her first feature, JUMP TOMORROW, won the 2002 BAFTA Charles Foreman Award for Best Newcomer to British Film. Her latest film "The Best Thief in the World", written and directed by Jacob Kornbluth, has been accepted into dramatic competition at Sundance 2004. |
