Richard Usborne was born in India in 1910. After Oxford, he began a career in advertising, and was a writer and journalist - including a three year spell as assistant editor to the Strand Magazine, the publication in which most of P.G. Wodehouse's stories first appeared. Long regarded as the leading authority on Wodehouse, he is also the author of the classic CLUBLAND HEROES, a look at the fiction of Dornford Yates, Sapper and John Buchan. In addition to his several previous volumes of Wodehouse, he edited and annotated the unfinished final Wodehouse novel SUNSET AT BLANDINGS. He lives in London. |
